We went to Woy Woy and what a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky and a gentle ripple on the water.
Here at Umina Beach there was a soft breeze and a few clouds....still warm enough for just a jumper though.

Of course not all days were so balmy as the sea crashes onto the rocks with the high winds, still no clouds though.
One afternoon we had a hail storm, and as the lights came on the hail came and we were plunged into darkness with very strong winds and an hour or so of the wet stuff.
NSW suffers from a few days of storms and relentless rain. The rivers burst their banks and the fields flood. Live stock are moved to higher ground and a few places are cut off.
What better way than Mother Nature........a big spiders web greets us as we open the curtains, I dread meeting the spider who made this.
We get lots of birds here and these two regularly come to get fed.
Bob and Ted belong to this homestead and come to get grass given them rather than munch from the ground.
Living in the middle of nowhere has its privileges and what better sight can there be than watching a group of kangaroos come to eat breakfast first thing in the morning!
Unless of course you see your very first wild Koala sitting in a tree in the front paddock. I was so excited to see it.

Well that was Autumn at Gumnut, what will Winter bring?????
