Mum and Dad on Tour

When my Mum and Dad came to visit I wanted to take them to see the Watagan Mountains, so one of the first places we visited was this little picnic spot. Dad had just trapped his finger/hand in the car door handle so it was only fitting that, after I had administered first aid, well put on a plaster to try and stop it bleeding everywhere , that Mum broke out the flasks and went on 'Tea Duty'. Extra sugar for Dad.......we do not want him to go into shock on his first outing.

Mum is afraid of heights so being very brave she ventures to the rail to get her picture taken. With just a little nervous titter she tells a joke
This was the view, and spectacular it was too.

Mum and Dad were over the moon to see the Lace Monitors, they stayed around to see if we left any tit bits after our picnic.

Later that afternoon we took them to Toronto, not the sprawling city in Ontario, Canada, but the sleepy little town around one of the Bays near us at Warners Bay. Here is the Railway Station that is hidden from view unless you go by the waters edge.

With the cloudless sky behind her Mum tries to get to grips with her video camera, plenty of action later on in the holiday, but for now Mum has been practicing her floor shots.

Not only is Mum scared of heights but also the water so this is about as far as she got to the edge. When we visit Newcastle we have to go on the ferry but I will not tell her until we get there. Surprise!!!!!!
