Having now settled in to Aussie time after a days flight we took Mum and Dad down to Warner's Bay to get a few rays by the water and so they could see where we live.
Dad pointing out something to John, now it could be that he has seen fish or is marvelling at the weed floating past. Oh, and spot the matching coloured shirts, this theme seemed to appear quite a lot when we went out.
We went to Newcastle one day and the weather was cold, wet and very windy. To make matters worse we had a picnic and nearly froze to death. They don`t tell you that when you get the brochurs from the Travel Agents. So it was better to hang on to each other rather than get blown away. Oh look, matching colours.
What a difference in the afternoon, we had eaten our picnic, been on the ferry, walked to the beach, seen the shops, done a tour of Newcastle and decided to stop at the next beach along to get some pictures, although still windy we did get to take off our coats and the sun started to warm us all up, we had frozen all morning.
You have to see Sydney when you come to Australia, so we took the car to Woy Woy and caught the train into Sydney, when you get off the train you get the most spectacular view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. So, to prove we were there John took our picture, and once again it was freezing cold, notice we are all in the same colour, AGAIN. (I need to get a new wardrobe mistress)
And of course the Opera House.
Now I am sure they are spectacular but the tiles look like bathroom tiles to us, you have to get up close to check them out, then try and work out how much it would cost to re-tile the whole building. They look a lot better when you are a long way away. Honestly.

You all dressing alike is hilarious! "The Beige Family".
Mind you , it does mean a very colour co-ordinated tone on tone effect in the photos!
