The Seniors go North (just below the Arctic Circle)

Thanks to our Tazmanian Daughter in Law, who started this Blog and is encouraging us to do it. Our first attempt is dedicated to or blamed on her. So here we go..........

For our summer break we took off to the Highlands of Scotland-Inverness positioned just below the Arctic Circle however much to our relief the weather was brilliant hence the blue sky (yes the sky is always blue it's the clouds that spoil it).

Here is the cottage we rented, Tuath Cala. Isolated from the rest of the world, giving us a quiet peaceful break, with just the wild life for company- sheep, deer and the odd fox.

The only other human beings were the McGeehan family who live up there and visited us during our stay:

During the holiday I was dragged out to walk the odd mile or two or 3 or 4 or more. Here I am at Plodda Falls, wet, tired, hungry, alone and getting wetter. Oh the joy.

Meanwhile, another day and we are out again walking only this time we are lost. The Nav looks puzzled ! I look......

Just another day out in the wilds. And we paid for this?

Well thats our first attempt at Blogging, remember the blame lies with the daughter in law Sharon, complaints should be addressed to her, any compliments can be addressed to us. however this may result in us having a 2nd attempt.
