The weather has been very kind to us over the Easter break, so John and I decided to go for a walk around Draycot Water hoping to get a little further than our last attempt when we were caught in the middle of an ice storm . We went quite early to avoid the crowds and the few people we did see were mainly out on the water doing some fishing.

John has some new walking boots and decided that to break them in he would need to wear them all the way round the water walk.

Some chaps deciding that they would rather not be in boats and that wading up to their knees in water was far more exciting. The water was very calm and not a ripple was to be seen, the water is very low at present so guess we will get water restrictions if lack of rain continues.

John taking a well earned coffee break. Do you think his boots are pinching yet? See Sharon I am not the only person with big glasses.

John would not let me have a piccie with my glasses on, guess he was protecting his reputation of wearing large glasses.

Sensible fishermen , no wet trousers for them.

Still looking good on the boat, not sure what the catch of the day was, if at all.

I have a confession to make here as I disturbed Mum and babies, still a swimming lesson is always a good thing to have. Sorry.

Never noticed these before, cannot think why, they are not small by any means.
Alpacas.

Just big sheep really, and very tall.
