The Gathering

When Paul told John and I that he was on a course in Munich we hoped he would be able to visit us in the UK. Many phone calls and E-Mails later, we had a plan of sorts. A gathering of the Smith Clan and by some little fibs by Linda, the Woffindales. The plan was gathering pace, the table booked, arrangements made to pick up Paul, the secret still safe from Mum and Dad, then............A chicken pox outbreak..........Thomas had caught chicken pox..........
Change of plan. Lots of E-Mails across the world and we re-arranged the arrangements!!!!!!!!!!!
Back on course we awaited the date when Paul would arrive in the UK. Thomas was getting better so what else could go wrong,....... poor Laura then got chicken pox, so once again we re-arranged. It all went well and at long last we set the plan in motion. I went and picked up Mum and Dad who thought it was just the four of us, and John, Jason, Paul and Thomas went to the restaurant to await our arrival.

Well they look pleased, so a little pleased myself that it all worked out okay.
