Tales of the River Bank - Sydney Style

Having travelled 'around a bit' we returned to Sydney to take in the sights and work out if we had found our new home. There, in the local paper we read about the proposed ending of the Parramatta ferry, so we thought we had better take the ferry while we still could, so off to Parramatta:
Having got on the 'Rivercat' we set off down to Sydney-a bit like any river I guess no Ratty,Mole or other fictitious characters to be seen
Maybe we spoke to soon:

You see some nice buildings from the river, haven't a clue what it is but we think it's nice-so in the Blog it goes:

Hey it's one of us:

Must be getting there 1st sighting of the Skyscrapers:

2nd sighting with the added bonus of some old quay:

And finally 'The Bridge comes into view:

And more:

Then the whole city comes into view:

More of the city again with some of the old 'Rocks':

With more of 'The Rocks'
Hey it wouldn't be Sydney without this building would it?

And finally Circular Quay, journeys end, not a bad trip, it would be a shame if they end the ferry run, you certainly see a different view of the city and its docks.

To finish the day off we took a walk around the gardens behind the Opera House:

You may have noticed that this Blog didn't show 1 picture of either of us, this fact will surely add to your viewing pleasure.
