On the way we stopped at Fitzroy Falls, this photo shows the little old granny, hat on head, glasses to keep out the midday sun and her bottle????
A little of the vista (a posh word for a would be Aussie):
I bet you thought you wouldn't get to see the Falls , but here it is:
Some of that wild life we promised...an ant hill, exciting hey? How many can you spot? Answers on a post card together with the entrance fee.
And so off to the valley, and a famous landmark, the Hampden bridge, with genuine wooden flooring, a part of Australia's living history.
This next photo includes our camp site right next to the bridge. A nice place run by a lovely couple, as long as you don't mention cigarettes.
After a week in the valley we moved on to Ulludulla, and there, there was some wild life...well parrots and Lin could hand feed them. Mind you if you sat out and you were in their flight path you had better duck.
Having looked around these two areas, neither met our hopes so we moved on to Kiama in our hunt for a home.
