Warners Bay

Since September we have been living here at Warners Bay on Lake Macquarie. (Named after Jonathan Warner from Lymington in England)

Part of the Esplanade and foreshore, plenty of places to eat your fish and chips, have a barbie, or eat a picnic.

A view to Valentine.

We went to the New Years Eve firework display and had a birds eye view of the sky lit up.

Very pretty.

There is a shared walk and cycle way which winds around the waterfront to Speers Point and we try to walk this most days. We tend to go in the evening when it is cooler and get to see some amazing sunsets. We have even seen some dolphins, and plenty of fish leaping out of the water. Fishermen try to get a catch, very peaceful in the early evening.

What a lovely evening, it reminds me of a walk I went on with my friend Ann, we saw an amazing sunset over the sea.

Evening approaches, the clouds form up across the far end of the Bay.
(It is great to see that so many people like to use this shared path, it may even get me fitter if I keep it up, not holding my breath though.)
