A Fond Farewell to Gumnut Glen

It is with a heavy heart that I do my last Blog from Gumnut Glen. Tomorrow we are moving to another part of NSW. I have enjoyed my first taste of living in rural Australia and being able to spend nearly 7 months at Brookfield. I will miss being here at Gumnut but as it has been sold it is time to move on.

Our dining room, until the furniture was taken, many a meal here watching the kangaroos pass by.

The sad bit as the furniture is taken away by Steve and Cameron. Steve was our landlord, now a good friend, Friday will be a very sad day for him as he leaves Gumnut for the last time as the owner.

What a difference.........dinner on a tray for the last few meals.

One last chance of wood gathering............a party before they all leave with the pickings.

Our last misty morning, the sun just shining through.

So as the sun sets at Gumnut I bid it farewell

Thats it then.

But tomorrow the 4th Sept it is .........................."Good Morning Warners Bay"
